Our distance group competed at the Mile City Event this past weekend, at the University of Washingtons’ Dempsey Indoor Center, in Seattle Washington. This was a great meet for all that participated, with some outstanding performances turned in by our distance runners.
Will Steiger, Riley Simmonds, Maggie Epp, Lyla Teer, Quinn Kenny, Jayda Tielmann, Mason and Willem Acker, Sammy Neufeld, Kai Lainchbury, Tegan Setter, Laken Olson and Adrianna Buitelaar all put great season opener marks on the board and are looking forward to stepping up their performances as the season progresses. We saw some close to world leading performances in the pole vault event and saw the best milers in nation running in the invitational sections.
