Riley Simmonds and Adrianna Buitelaar both represented us this past weekend at the Nike Outdoor High School Nationals, in Eugene, Oregon. Running against the best high school competitors from Canada and the US, they both did us proud.
Adrianna Ran a personal best performance of 9:32.81 in the 3000m, placing her 7th AND at the top of the Canadian U18 Ranking list!
Riley Simmonds had a stunning run in the Boys Mile to break the existing Canadian record by three seconds AND establishing a new BC U18 open record of 4:06.92.
Both of these athletes have continued to come into their own this season, and it is a testament to their hard work and the dedication that they have shown.
