Our Valley Royals Distance Crew had a strong showing in Nanoose Bay this past weekend at the BC Athletics Cross Country Championships. For many of our athletes this was their fist experience with strong provincial level competition, and they represented us proudly, showing that they will be competitors to recon with in the years to come. A shout out goes to our U14 girls, who had the strongest team showing in the province. Our post-meet team dinner was a resounding success with over 40 of us descending on the Nanaimo Cactus Club, and a great time was had by all. A big thank you goes out to our parent team, who organised this!! A big congratulations goes out to all our Valley Royals athletes and families who participated.
