Our Valley Royals throwers had an outstanding showing at the 2026 BC Athletics Outdoor Track & Field Championships!
These athletes have been putting in the work all season, and their dedication truly paid off. We had numerous Top 8 finishes, several podium performances, and almost every athlete achieved at least one personal best (PB)!

🥇 Gavin Jhaj – Team BC standard achieved, and Gold Medalist in both Discus and Hammer Throw.
🥈 Harveer Nigah – Team BC standard achieved, and Silver Medalist in High Jump.
The official Team BC roster will be announced on July 8, and we’re excited to find out if both athletes earn their spots.
